Who we work for
Trust your commercial electric to the area's most experienced contractor
A family-owned and operated business since 1955, North Town Electric offers a comprehensive array of services for commercial establishments across North Central Texas. Businesses only, never houses.
Chapter 01
Five kinds of building, one crew
North Town Electric names the properties it serves plainly: retail stores, churches, office buildings, grocery stores and hotels. Each one loads a building differently, and reading that difference correctly is most of the job.
- 01
Retail store
A sales floor that has to stay lit through trading hours, and a panel that was often sized for whoever occupied the space before. Circuit changes get scheduled around the register, not the other way around.
- 02
Church
Assembly-occupancy wiring that runs hard for a few hours a week and sits idle the rest. Lighting and service work get sequenced around the calendar, not a daily shift pattern.
- 03
Office building
Floors get re-partitioned faster than the lighting plan gets redrawn. New circuits, a new arrangement, and an LED retrofit are usually the same job, not three separate ones.
- 04
Grocery store
Refrigeration load running around the clock. Panel capacity, exhaust and lighting all have to carry a duty cycle that never really stops, even overnight.
- 05
Hotel
Guest floors, back of house, and the exterior, all under one roof. Parking lot and signage lighting get reached from our own lift rather than a second contractor's.
Chapter 02
Family-owned and operated since 1955
Trust all of your commercial electric needs to the area's most experienced contractor. A family-owned and operated business since 1955, North Town Electric has served North Central Texas from its Fabens Road shop for over 32 years.
Seventy years in one trade in one metro buys something a newer contractor can not offer: a crew that has already been inside buildings like yours, and a Texas Electrical Contractor License, #17635, that has been continuously answerable the entire time. That is not a slogan, it is a licence number you can check.
Chapter 03
What "full-service" means on a work order
North Town Electric calls itself a full-service electric contractor, and the scope is specific rather than a marketing word: wiring, conduit and receptacles, new outlets and switches, upgrades to electrical sized for an earlier tenant, breaker panels, exhaust fans, and interior and exterior lighting. One crew, one licence, one work order for all of it.
Full scope, every job: wiring · conduit and receptacles · outlets and switches · service upgrades · breaker panels · exhaust fans · interior and exterior lighting.
